Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and experience.
- Working with content and design teams to execute assignments.
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Working together with the client and UX designer to establish a common vision.
- Researching target audience and getting to know the user personas.
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Designing screens, buttons, scrollbars and other navigational elements
- Prototyping and testing.
- Liaising with developers to ensure correct implementation
Requirements
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, and/or Graphic Design.
- 3-4 years of proven UI experience with a strong portfolio.
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in User Research and Personas.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Good communication skills and an ability to work in a team.
